Is TheatreLink an EMR?
No. TheatreLink is not a medical record system. It captures booking and RFA information, and your PAS remains the system of record. The platform also holds credential information — making it easier for doctors working across multiple hospitals.
Where is patient data stored?
In AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2), under Australian data residency. There is no cross-region replication, and no offshore mirroring of patient records.
Does TheatreLink replace the hospital’s PAS?
No. TheatreLink sits upstream of the hospital’s PAS and is not a replacement. Where an enterprise requires it, we are willing to integrate — pushing validated booking and RFA data into the existing system of record.
How long does onboarding take?
A typical pilot hospital is live on scheduling within four weeks. RFA and admissions modules follow once your Privacy Impact Assessment is signed off internally.
Do you capture patient consent?
Not yet. At this stage TheatreLink handles Request For Admission (RFA) data only. Electronic consent and signature capture are on our product roadmap and will land with full compliance under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999.
Is there a free trial?
We work with hospitals through a structured pilot, not a self-serve trial. Talk to us about your theatre and we will scope a pilot that fits.
